 | Eden Valley Riesling Pewsey Vale Eden Valley Rieslings are approachable wines renowned for their delicacy, finesse and intense lemon and lime characters. Grapes are left on the vines to achieve their full ripening potential, made possible by the cooler harvest conditions at the high altitude. Characteristics of Pewsey Vale Rieslings are the high levels of well-balanced acids which greatly contribute to the extraordinary ageing potential of these wines. 2011 | 2010 | 2009 | 2008 |
 | Prima Riesling "In 1997 when we were planning the 150th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Pewsey Vale Vineyard we held a tasting from our museum of a selection of wines from the 60's - 90's. I was fascinated to taste a spatlese (sic) Riesling that was made in 1979. At 10% alcohol and 20g/L of sugar, with 18 years of bottle age (under Stelvin) the wine was still looking fresh and balanced, without obvious sugar but gorgeous fruit intensity. It was evident this was a style the Vineyard could produce well.
With this wine still in mind we commenced a programme in 2004 to make an early harvest wine from the Pewsey Vale Vineyard. The aim was to make a wine with hallmarks of what we know Pewsey Vale Riesling is, yet with lower alcohol and a fine balance of natural acid and residual fruit sugar."
